The capital is the Vatican City. It's  within the city of Rome, Italy. It sits on the Tiber River. The population of the Vatican City is about 800 people.

 

There are about five official languages in the Vatican City and they include English, French, Italian and Spanish, but the state of the Vatican City has established no official language by law. The euro is the official currency in the Vatican City. There aren't any Patrons in the Vatican City.

 

The main natonial holidays in the Vatican City are: Anniversary of the foundation of Vatican City on 11th February Joseph the Worker on 1th May, All Saints on 1th November, Saints Peter and Paul on 29th June, Assumption on 15th August, Immaculate Conception on 8th December, Christmas Day on 25th December and St Stephen's Day on 26th December.

 

As regards temperatures, July is the hottest month in Vatican City with an average temperature of 25°C and the coldest is January at 7°C. The wettest month is October with an average of 120mm of rain. The best month to swim in the sea is in August when the average sea temperature is 26°C. The best time to visit the Vatican City is in summer in June or August.
